One negative thing about this segment is that it keeps making the case, or trying to, that the horribleness is that it's _professionals_ out of work. That's like saying it's worse when a famous person dies than just some joe schmo who nobody knew! I find the elitist slant a tad offensive, even as I realize that the original point was to present the professional jobless as a symptom of the severity of the crisis. Somehow there is still an odor there...
You point is well taken. But I think the emphasis on professionals is a strong indictment of a system that "promised" the American Dream to those who "played by the rules" and "worked hard" and "got an education" etc: the point being made by my choice of titles, "Lazy Parasites." These people thought they were players, but this program shows they were pawns. Sadly, none seemed to have gained any revolutionary consciousness-- that may be beyond the range of MSM.

Come by to Jack Saturday once a week for some bracing anti-wage-slavery quotations, it'll be nice to have you over to the place. I'll be including some of the wake of my personal journey through freedom from the job in this third emancipatory phase of history, the phase of liberation of wage-slaves through a Guaranteed Livable Income.

Come to Extraordinary Discourse for my podcast, wider ranging. It would be a joy to spend an hour a week with you.
